Developing an e-portfolio initiative is not easy. It needs to be well thought out and you won't know until the first groups of students complete the program if the e-portfolio is meeting its intended purpose. It took several years for the faculty of the M.Ed. in Educational Technology to figure out what they wanted in an e-portfolio that was intended to replace the Comprehensive Exam.
